Frederick Henry Brigden (1871–1956) was a British-born Canadian artist known for his landscapes that celebrate the natural beauty of Canada. He studied in both Canada and England and was deeply influenced by the French Impressionists. Brigden became a founding member of the Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour and exhibited widely throughout his career. His works are held in numerous private and public collections, admired for their clarity of light, subtle coloration, and ability to evoke the atmosphere of the Canadian wilderness.
