Powell William E (1878-1955)
 
 Watercolour painter and illustrator, particularly of bird subjects. The watercolours are fine quality and are usually heightened with white. He is thought to have worked for Royal Worcester Porcelain. Both William and Walter Powell were employed in the early 1900's as decorators of mainly bird subjects. The quality and subject matter of Williams work has made his pictures very collectable.
