 A wonderful and rare Royal Worcester wartime figurine titled "The Rescue," expertly designed by Eileen A. Soper. Dating from 1941-1942, this exquisite piece is model number  3346 and showcases the distinctive Worcester puce hallmark. The figurine captures a poignant scene of a beautiful little girl kneeling on war rubble, desperately trying to save an adorable kitten, with a sign reading "Danger: Unexploded Bomb" in the background. Measuring 4 1/4" in height, 5 1/4" in length, and 3 7/8" in width, this remarkable piece is in excellent condition, free from any cracks, chips, or breaks.
