An exceptional vintage ruby and diamond necklace and earring suite by celebrated Canadian jeweller Toni Cavelti, created for Birks, circa 1990s.
Exquisitely handcrafted in richly textured 18kt yellow gold, the dramatic sculptural design is accented with platinum settings and beautifully arranged rubies and brilliant-cut diamonds. The suite features 14 round brilliant-cut diamonds totalling approximately 0.38ct, together with 53 additional round brilliant-cut diamonds totalling approximately 1.41ct.
A striking and highly distinctive example of Cavelti’s celebrated Canadian jewellery design, combining exceptional craftsmanship, bold architectural form and luxurious materials.
