Antoine Bittar is a well-known Canadian impressionist painter, celebrated for his luminous landscapes, city scenes, and European café vignettes. Born in Cairo, Egypt in 1957, Bittar immigrated to Canada in the 1960s and pursued fine art studies in both Montreal and Europe. His travels through France and Italy heavily influenced his romantic and light-filled style.

Working primarily in oil, Bittar draws inspiration from the traditions of French Impressionism, applying loose yet confident brushstrokes and a vibrant palette to capture the warmth, movement, and serenity of his subjects. His paintings have been widely exhibited across Canada and are held in numerous private and corporate collections.
