A handsome antique sterling silver salver of plain form with shaped shell border and central engraved crest, and inscription on the back given as a gift From Harriet Croft in  Oct. 13th 1796 to Thomas Croft. Good weight  and good condition 1.18Kg = 58.45 Troy ounces Size: 16 1/2" / 42 cm approximately, London 1760-61. Maker Ebenezer Coker.

In researching the name, I found that This Salver was given to Thomas Croft by Harriet Croft on his wedding day to Anne Ansel on October 13th 1796 in Dorking, Surrey England.
