4. Ordering and Shipping:
a. Orders typically take 2 business days to process upon receiving full payment.
b. All shipping costs will be presented on the checkout page as a flat rate, although they may vary based on factors such as size, weight, destination, and item shape. Rest assured, we will promptly contact you once the package is ready for dispatch to adjust the shipping cost accordingly.
c. Customers are welcome to make independent shipping arrangements. If you opt to provide your own shipping label, kindly contact us to coordinate the details. In which case shipping cost being charged shall be refunded to the customer.
d. A $15 handling fee is applied per order per shipment.
e. Martine Boré Antiques is not responsible for any customs duties or taxes that may be incurred; such costs are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Buyers of larger items should contact us prior to bidding to discuss whether shipping can be arranged for such items and/or to arrange for pick up of such items by a carrier service.
f. Martine Boré Antiques is not responsible for damages caused during the shipping process.
5. Returns and Refunds:
All sales are final.
a. We do not facilitate returns or exchanges unless there is a serious condition dispute. Items should not be returned to us without prior discussion, and no refund will be issued under such circumstances.
b. Items must be returned in their original condition for a refund or exchange. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
c. We do not offer storage services. Items not picked up within 2 weeks of purchase are subject to storage fees unless otherwise agreed upon at the time of purchase.
6. Intellectual Property:
a. All content on our website, including images and product descriptions, is the intellectual property of Martine Boré Antiques.
7. Consignment:
a. Martine Boré Antiques may offer consignment services for antique items.
b. Consignors must agree to the terms outlined in a separate consignment agreement, including commission rates, duration, and payment terms.
c. Martine Boré Antiques reserves the right to decline consignment items based on condition, market demand, or other factors.
d. Martine Boré Antiques is not responsible for any loss or damage to consigned items or items submitted for appraisal during transit or while in our possession.
e. Consignors may request the withdrawal of their consigned items after the agreed-upon consignment duration.
8. Appraisal Services:
a. Martine Boré Antiques may provide appraisal services for antique items.
b. Appraisal fees are determined based on the complexity and time required for the appraisal.
c. The appraisal value provided by Martine Boré Antiques is an opinion and should not be considered a guarantee of resale value.
d. Appraisal reports may not be used for legal or insurance purposes unless explicitly stated in writing.
