A charming Art Deco figural bird Pitcher designed and signed by the celebrated Swiss-born sculptor and designer Édouard-Marcel Sandoz (1881–1971) for Théodore Haviland Limoges, France. Known for his elegant animal sculptures and refined Art Deco forms, Sandoz brought a distinctive artistic touch to functional porcelain pieces such as this. Finely modeled and beautifully detailed, the creamer stands 9.5"  inches high and remains in good condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. A highly collectible work of French Art Deco porcelain.
